Curriculum Overview
Advanced Placement (AP)
The Orme School offers accelerated courses in most departments, allowing capable students to proceed at a more rapid pace and in greater depth than regular classes. Students in AP courses prepare for the national examinations in May. If they qualify, they may receive advanced standing in college courses, or credit toward their college degrees.

In order to receive a diploma, students must earn 24 course credits, including those listed above. **This is an increase from 22 credits listed in the 2023-2024 Handbook, and will be valid without exception for the 2025-2026 school year.** |
