Advanced Placement (AP)

The Orme School offers accelerated courses in most departments, allowing capable students to proceed at a more rapid pace and in greater depth than regular classes. Students in AP courses prepare for the national examinations in May. If they qualify, they may receive advanced standing in college courses, or credit toward their college degrees.

Minimum Requirements for Graduation

English (May include ESL instruction) 4
Mathematics (Pre-Algebra is not a high school credited course at Orme) 4
History (Must include U.S. History) 3
Science (Two lab sciences required; three preferred) 3
Foreign Language (The same language recommended) 3
Fine Arts 2
