At the end of the day, the stories they tell and the friendships they take away from this experience really prepares them for a college life before they are let loose into the real world. How does Orme School support your relationship with your child, despite the fact that she is not living with you?Communication is key for us. We joined Orme as the Covid situation was beginning to let up. Not knowing how things were going to work out, we took a leap of faith after much consideration and research on best academic and social avenues for our daughter. Since her time at Orme (now 1.5 years +) I would add that being able to reachsomeone at Orme anytime day or night is comforting. Orme has provided a safe environment that remains to challenge the students while providing them a chance to be them-selves. Our relationship with our daughter now allows space between us. Moving into her senior year and wanting to be independent, Orme supports some necessary reinforcement as our students enter adulthood.
