I wanted to go to boarding school; it was my decision and probably one of the best decisions that I have ever made. It altered the course of my life and helped to form who I am today. What is your favorite Orme memory? There are too many to pick just one. I would say our daily lives and the cadence of the energy of the ranch. The PH (Personal Horse area) was the hub of my life as I had my horse with me; the care of my horse was my chore. For me, the time and place were a magical moment in time. What motivates you to give back to Orme? We were taught to give back. The sense of community that was instilled in us was a huge gift that has served well in my adult life. My time there was wonderful. I would like for the legacy of hard work, resilience, and fortitude to be passed to the next generations. What advice do you have for current students? Ranch life teaches every life lesson that you may need. Be quiet inside and listen; the pulse of the land will guide you. No matter where you are, in the middle of Times Square or Paris, close your eyes and listen; the pulse and lessons from the land will be there to guide you.
