b'The Power of 100The Orme School Centennial CampaignTHE MARIAN & TED CRAVER ENDOWMENT FUNDThe Power of 100 Centennial Campaign is pleased to announce the creation of the Marian and Ted Craver Endowment Fund. Through their continuous efforts to include Orme in their philanthropic endeavors, their gift of $1,000,000 will provide yearly support to the Horsemanship Program and for building and grounds en-hancements. Marian, exemplifying volunteerism and leadership at Orme for several decades, stated, By pro-viding yearly endowment dollars for the Horsemanship Program and buildings and grounds, we can help Orme continue to teach every aspect of ranch life. Endowment gifts are crucial to the schools mission as they provide reliable sources of income in perpetuity. Associate Head of School and Director of Advancement Ross Sanner recently spoke about the power of the Cravers gift. Endowment giving at this level is truly special in providing a pathway to prosperity for years to come. It creates a permanent tribute and extends the donors values and wishes for future generations. With this gift, Marian and Ted are now part of the Centennial Leadership Power of 100 Club. The Cravers chose to allocate funds to these programs believing the school was founded on horsemanship and chores playing an integral part of the curriculum. Preservation of buildings and grounds maintains the ranch school environment. While she was Board Chair, Marian led the way on several construction projects and a renewal of the Chore Program. Ted, as a Vaqueros rider, and the Craver children, as campers, have enjoyed countless hours in the saddle. The Cravers legacy gift will keep Charlie and Mimis vision of a ranch school and camp alive for generations to come. Marian and Ted stated, We hope many others will join us in the Centennial Campaign to ensure the long-term success of the school. For more information on how you can give to the Power of 100 Centennial Campaign through endowment and planned giving, please contact Ross Sanner, Associate Head of School and Director of Advancement at 928-632-7601 or rsanner@ormeschool.org. 14 THE ORME SCHOOL BULLETIN 2019 15'
