Another successful and well-attended Reunion came to a close on Sunday, June 5. While temperatures soared down in Phoenix, alumni and friends of Orme were able to enjoy cooler temps (and the swimming pool) here on campus. The weekend included our traditional chuckwagon-style pit barbecue on Saturday, along with a Farm-to-Table Dinner on Friday night, which showcased Orme’s Sustainability Program.
There was something for everyone, from trail rides and hikes, to children’s crafts, and campus & sustainability tours. Also, congratulations to the Class of 1966 who were inducted into the Half Century Club during a special luncheon on Saturday!
Orme’s first ever alumni Battle of the Decades took place on Saturday. And, Reunion would not be complete, of course, without Class Photos and songs around the campfire.
The weekend wrapped up on Sunday morning with the annual Memorial Remembrance Service in the Morton Vrang Orme Chapel.
It was great to see so many Orme alumni and friends back on campus.
Plans are already underway for Reunion 2017, June 2 – 4, so mark your calendars now.
