Joan Jone’s ESL History class students went on a field trip to Montezuma Castle National Monument in Camp Verde, Arizona. Their class is currently studying the development of early indigenous people of the Verde Valley area. The Orme School’s great location provides students with an opportunity to complement their classroom studies with trips such as this, allowing them to actually see and experience firsthand some of our country’s most interesting southwestern historical sites.
