Latest News From Orme
The second semester of 2020-2021 is well underway. We appreciate the patience and support of our parents, students, prospective families, and alumni during this unprecedented time. Our COVID-19 Rapid Response Team continues its diligent work to ensure that our campus offers the safest environment possible for students and faculty. We are continuing with weekly on-site COVID testing for students, faculty, and staff. The Orme School’s remote location also adds to our campus community’s safety, and for that we are extra fortunate.
- In accordance with the CDC and State health guidelines, students, faculty, and staff are expected to follow three basic principles: Practice physical distancing; wear masks; and practice frequent and thorough hand sanitizing and washing.
- We continue to offer online classes for students who were unable to get back to campus due to international travel and/or Visa restrictions. Orme is making certain that no student misses any coursework if they are participating in remote learning this semester.
- Orme will continue our annual traditions of Fine Arts Festival and Caravan this spring. While both events will look a little different due to COVID and safety requirements, our students will still have an opportunity to participate in those fun educational experiences that are a big part of The Orme School Experience.
We continue with our tireless efforts to identify and determine all viable paths forward for the safety and health of our entire school community. Providing children with the safe, exceptional education that Orme has been known for since 1929 remains our number one priority.
Prospective students, please reach out to Director of Admissions Jessica Calmes regarding enrollment for next fall.
Thank you for your partnership and trust.
