Veteran science teacher Sylvia Strobel’s AP Chemistry and AP Biology classes have been working hard this fall and taking on some very interesting lab projects.
AP Biology students learned about cell membrane structure and function, and completed an osmosis & diffusion lab. They looked at the rate vs concentration of solutes and solvents.
In the Chemistry lab, AP students worked on a project using magnesium and hydrochloric acid to determine the molar volume of a gas using the Gas Laws.
