Along with Director of Residential Education Doug Hoskins, ten Orme students volunteered at the Verde Valley Fairgrounds for two hours to assist the Kids Against Hunger program. Working in assembly line fashion, students measured, sealed and boxed food packages that contained long grain rice, vitamin-fortified soy, vitamin & mineral powder, and an assorted blend of dehydrated vegetables.
Orme students know the importance of service to others in both our local community and extended global community, and understand that they can take action and make a difference.
